Excerpts from Prostitution

Excerpts from prostitution are first person snapshots of life in the sex industry.  They are not the entire story but rather glimpses into my life.  Eventually this will contain excerpts from both the non consensual and consensual time frames.  At this point they are all from the non consensual and are there to re-enforce the concept of what happens to prostitutes when they have no rights.

The following is an excerpt from my experiences in prostitution and a significant portion of my speaking presentations to give a first person account followed by discussion of sex worker rights, my support for full decriminalization of prostitution and why the two which seem so far apart are merged   MORE

Christmas Eve, I was freezing in a leather coat, leather short skirt and light top. The whole day had been in calls. And what was a surprise to me was a very busy day. People have often asked me why I didn’t try to escape.  Giving reasons that there must have been opportunities.  Just run to a police officer, just run to a security guard.  Yes, I was often in places that I could have done just those things.  But when you are brutalized as a captive those options disappear.  This is the narrative of my one and only escape attempt.  MORE
